2013 Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster Brochure Scans Leak onto the Web

It’s no secret that Mercedes-Benz has almost completed work on the next iteration of its SL roadster, as the German company itself recently published several technical details along with official shots of the car, albeit still wrapped up in camouflage.

However, if these leaked scanned images of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL brochure turn out to be true – and from what we can tell, they seem genuine, you can get your first gander at Stuttgart new roadster model in the gallery after the jump.

SCOOP: Mercedes-Benz GLK SUV Prepares for its First Facelift

Approximately three years have passed since Mercedes-Benz launched the GLK crossover onto the market (and let's not forget, after making its chic promotional premiere at the "Sex and the City" movie…), so it's time for a customary mid-life facelift, which should arrive in showrooms next year.

Our spies snapped the freshened-up 2013 GLK with minimal camouflage during some cold weather testing in Northern Sweden.

SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's Three-Row 2013 GL-Class SUV Shows More Skin

Mercedes-Benz seems set to rejuvenate its entire lineup within the next couple of years. Now, one of our wily spies has caught yet another snap of a new Mercedes-Benz model, the second generation of the GL-Class that was snagged testing with reduced camouflage in Europe.

The new Mercedes-Benz ML-Class that forms the base for the longer 2013 GL-Class has already set the tone so don't expect any surprises on the design front.

That said, the three-row crossover model will look a lot like the vehicle it replaces combining a rising beltline and upright profile with the squared nose and other styling details of the newer ML.

SPY SHOTS: New Mercedes-Benz B25 AMG Caught Sneaking Out in the Open

Here's our first glimpse at Mercedes-Benz's hottest new B-Class model yet, which is being prepared by none other than the German firm's AMG division and is expected to enter production by 2013.

We're still not sure about the name, but it is believed that the most mightiest of all B-Class variants will be dubbed the B25 AMG.

While based on a different platform than the upcoming A25 AMG, spy shots of which we showed you back in August, the two models will share the same powertrain setup that includes a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine delivering somewhere around 300 ponies and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

SCOOP: Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate gets in the Black Series Mood

You'd think that 457-ponies under the hood of any family car let alone a station wagon would be enough to get any enthusiast excited, but Mercedes-Benz believes otherwise and has ordered its AMG division to prepare a Black Series edition of the C63 AMG Estate.

Behind that mismatched front bumper are the same hardware upgrades found on the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, and which include a modified 6.2-liter V8 engine pushing out 517HP and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of peak torque, an increase of 60HP and 20Nm over the regular model.

Structural Photos and New Details of 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL hit the Web

We have been following the development of the new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL for quite some time now having recently spied a prototype with minimal camouflage that enabled us to see many aspects of the hardtop roadster's design.

Naturally, as we're nearing closer to its debut that will take place at next year's Detroit Auto Show in January, more information is coming out. Earlier this week, German magazine Auto Motor und Sport published a set of what appear to be official pictures of the next SL's body-in-white, along with some very interesting details.

The images suggest that the all-new luxury roadster will retain the familiar SL silhouette while adopting styling cues from other Mercedes models such as the boxy nose that is becoming the brand’s new “face” and the SLK’s “Magic Sky Control” retractable rigid roof.

SCOOP: 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class MPV Caught…White-Handed

Our team of spy photographers have snagged the production version of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class dressed in a see-through plastic wrap as the car was being loaded off the transportation truck.

Clearly descended from the current-generation of Stuttgart’s mini-MPV model, the new B-Class follows a more conservative styling language than its smaller sibling, the 2012 A-Class, official patent images of which we showed you in May (see here).

The five-seat 2012 B-Class is based on a new front-wheel drive platform which brings an increase in dimensions and consequently, improved interior space for both passengers and the luggage area.

The new B-class, dubbed W246, will benefit from an updated lineup of turbocharged four-cylinder engines with direct-injection and start/stop technologies in both diesel and petrol flavors.

It is believed that Mercedes-Benz will lift the covers off the new B-Class at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this September with sales to follow next year. Mercedes-Benz officials have not revealed any plans to bring the B-Class to the USA.

Stay tuned for more spy shots as well as the actual production versions of both the 2012 A- and B-Class models as we’re nearing closer to their launch.

SCOOP: 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class MPV is Same ol’ Same ol’…

Not too long ago, we brought you official design images of the brand new 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class sporting a five-door hatchback body styled after the impressive A-Class concept seen at the New York and Shanghai Auto Shows in April. Now we have some revealing spy shots of the upcoming 2012 B-Class minivan. Being that the next A-Class and its larger B-Class sibling belong to the same family, you would expect a similar design philosophy between the two models.

However, as these latest scoops demonstrate, that is not the case with the new 2012 B-Class. We had a very hard time telling the differences between the current B-Class and its successor, as the overall shape and styling of the small MPV have been kept intact. Nevertheless, the new B-Class is slightly longer than the current model, with the front and rear ends influenced by the latest crop of Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs.

SCOOP: 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan Facelift and New C-Class Coupe Snagged Together

Not surprisingly, Mercedes-Benz engineers are testing the redesigned for 2011 C-Class sedan together with its new two-door brethren that will carry the C-Class Coupe name populating another niche for the German carmaker when it arrives in the marker next year.

The development of the new C-Class Coupe has led to some modest styling updates for the sedan (obviously for the Estate model also), which include the re-designed front bumper and headlights along with a recontoured grille. It also appears that the sedan's gets a reprofiled rear bumper and a fresh design for the tail lights.

As for the C-Class Coupe model that will most likely try to take on both the BMW 1- and 3-Series coupes, aside from losing two doors, it gets a sleek, swooping C-pillar and frameless side windows while the centre pillar has been discarded.

SPIED: 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class SUV

Despite the rising importance of green issues in the auto industry, carmakers continue the development of full-size SUVs / 4x4s such as the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. Our scoop photographers snagged some of the very first pictures of the next generation Mercedes SUV while undergoing testing in Germany.

Although details are scarce, we do know that the new GL will make use of a stretched version of the next ML's platform, which is also shared with the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the upcoming Dodge Durango. The same goes for the powertrains options that will mirror those of the new ML and include V6 and V8 engine options.

2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS Sports Saloon Snagged Completely Undisguised!

We were supposed to see the next iteration of the Mercedes-Benz CLS for the first time at this fall's Paris Motor Show, however, thanks to an eagle-eyed reader of the Brazilian website Noticiasautomotivas, we now have pictures of the sporty four-door saloon without a hint of camouflage. Believe it or not, the reader caught the 2011 CLS lurking around the German firm's Stuttgart Museum. We assume the car was there for a photo shoot.

The new CLS blends the "banana shaped" body of the outgoing model with styling elements Mercedes-Benz's latest cars such as the E-Class Coupe's heavily shouldered rear wheel arches and the more dramatic front-end design, all previewed on the CLS Shooting Brake Concept.

There are no photos of the interior, but don't expect to see something entirely different the concept study.

SPIED: New Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe Caught Testing

Our spy photographers have snagged a lightly camouflaged prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe that is set to hit showrooms along with the facelifted versions of C-Class sedan and Estate early next year. It has been suggested that the arrival of the C-Class Coupe will mean the end of the CLC sport hatch.

Unlike the CLC which is based off the previous generation C-Class, the new coupe is built on the existing C-Class. The newcomer appears to feature a much simpler design than the larger and more expensive E-Class Coupe. Aside from losing two doors, the coupe version of the C-Class gains a more rakish roofline and a redesigned rear end. Don't expect any significant changes over the sedan model inside.

SPY VIDEO: 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG Sports Sedan

It won't be long before Mercedes-Benz pulls the covers off the second generation of its slinky CLS sports saloon codenamed C218, but for now, we can offer you a spy video of the racy AMG version shot in and around the Nurburgring circuit.

Despite the fact that the hottest version of the CLS family will retain the CLS 63 AMG moniker, the car won't get the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine. Instead it will be propelled by the Stuttgart's newly developed 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 powerhouse.

2011 Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster Reader Spy Shots

Carscoop reader Benjamin L. has grabbed some new spy shots of the next generation Mercedes-Benz SLK. Apparently, the German automaker is still conducting real-world testing for the new hardtop roadster as Benjamin snapped this prototype earlier today wondering around the outskirts of Paris in a black plastic suit of armor.

Like the current version of the SLK, Stuttgart's BMW Z4 rival will feature a two-piece folding metal roof, but it will also receive all of Mercedes' newest gadgets and accessories.

While the heavy camouflage doesn't allow us to get a clear view of the new SLK's looks, it is expected that Mercedes will drop the current model's F1-inspired nose in favor of a much bolder grille and more geometrically shaped headlamps, all themed after the SLS AMG Gullwing model.
