Hyundai Prices Refreshed 2012 Genesis Sedan, 429HP 5.0 R-Spec Model Starts from $47,350

We had our first motor show look at the facelifted 2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan earlier this winter in Chicago, but now, as it reaches dealers across the country, the South Korean automaker is ready to talk about pricing. In the U.S., buyers can choose from three models, the entry-level 3.8 V6 starting at $34,200, the 4.6 V8 priced at $44,500 and the all-new 5.0 R-Spec with a starting price at $46,500. The Genesis sedan has only been out in the market for two years, but Hyundai is getting ready to present the 2011MY with some barely noticeable styling upgrades in its home market.

Scooped here in South Korea completely undisguised, the 2011 Genesis sedan appears to get a reworked front bumper with newly styled air ducts and trim, more prominent side skirts, a chunkier chrome strip above the license plate and a new rear bumper with reshaped exhaust tips.

VIDEO: Rhys Millen's 775HP Hyundai Genesis PM850 Pikes Peak Racer in Action

Back in April, we shared the first details on Rhys Millen's Hyundai Genesis PM850 racer that will compete in this year's Pike Peak Hill Climb on Sunday, June 27. Now it's time to give you a taste of the insane race car in action during testing.

The Genesis PM850 is motivated by a heavily modified Hyundai Lambda V6 engine bored out to 4.1 liters and fitted with an HKS turbocharger, intercooler, and a unique exhaust system for a total output of 775HP and 750 lb-ft of torque. All that power is sent to all four wheels through a Weismann semi-automatic AWD transmission. Hit the jump to watch the two videos.
