All-New 2013 Ford Fusion / Mondeo Coming to Detroit, Take a Virtual Spin with App [Videos]


The second-generation of the Ford Fusion saloon is on its way with the world premiere to take place at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.

As you'd expect, the Blue Oval is preparing a month long tease for its mid-size model starting with a new app that will give users the opportunity to drive the 2013 Fusion through a series of “worlds” that unlock to reveal the car.

2010-2011 Ford Fusion and Mercy Milan Sedans Recalled Over Fears that Wheels Could Fall Off

The Blue Oval has issued a new recall on certain 2010-2011MY Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans that are equipped with 17-inch steel wheels because the wheel studs may start fracturing and split over time, potentially leading to one or more wheels falling off the car. 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid EPA Rated at 41mpg City and 36mpg Highway, Beats Lexus' HS 250h


The updated 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid sedan has received an EPA-certified 41 mpg rating in city driving and 36 mpg on the highway making it, according to FoMoCo, the most fuel efficient "luxury sedan" in the U.S, topping the Lexus HS 250h that returns 35mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway.

Not surprisingly, the MKZ Hybrid's fuel economy figures are identical to its sister-model, the Ford Fusion Hybrid, which we assume is "America's most fuel-efficient mainstream sedan"[...].

Ring a Bell? Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan Probed for Floor Mats After Complaints About Sticky Accelerators...


Remember Toyota's recall-woes over specific floor mats that could slip forward and snag the gas pedal? Well, we could be heading for a second round of recalls on the same issue but for a different automaker.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened a formal investigation into the 2010MY Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan models to examine allegations about pedals becoming trapped in the depressed position by unsecured floor mats.
